I'm Franziska — a professional violinist bringing a classical background from London, Berlin and beyond to weddings around Nelson and Tasman. Ceremony, drinks reception, or first dance, played live.
I trained at the Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal College of Music London, with time at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin along the way. Since then I've worked with the Philharmonia, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Opera House, the Hallé and the Berliner Symphoniker, among others — and led the Chaos Collective Quartet, covering most of the Candlelight series across Norfolk and Suffolk in the UK.
Since relocating to Nelson, I lead the Rōnaki String Quartet and perform solo and chamber work across the region. For weddings, I bring that same orchestral discipline to something much more personal: the handful of minutes that matter most on your day.
